March to April 2006 Ghost Stories

In recent weeks it has come to my attention that certain parties are using my ghost stories and those of my contributors as references for their own commercial enterprises.  If you or someone you know is writing a book on ghosts in the Pacific Northwest, PLEASE DO NOT!!! copy or use the following stories or any other materials within this website as references.

Hi Jeff,

I've been up to my favorite lighthouse in Two Harbors, Mn. I was lucky this time and I was the only one in the whole lighthouse, I'm writing as I did have a ghost experience and maybe you could give me some insight, hope so. As I was laying in bed sometime between 2 and 4 a.m. at the foot of my bed I could hear a little girl's voice say just one word, the word baby and it was a happy voice. Shortly after hearing the child I felt a tingle in the lower half of the body from the waist down to the toes, it was a tingling like when your legs go to sleep and then you experience the needle effect.

I have stayed at the lighthouse many times and usually something happens. I get a ghost picture or some activity.

SUBJECT:  Manresa Castle Photos and info/true story/experience

 I went to Manresa Castle over the summer and took these 2 photos. As you can see in the first one thee is an orb right there in plain sight plus there is a shadow right by that orb! Now in the second photo if you look at the half-circle window up there that is room 306 as you can see there is a voodoo doll type of shape and as I was driving out of the parking lot it moved with me this was before it  moved and when we were just barely out of the driveway my car started  braking down!!!

 Thanks for sharing your experience and photos.  I'll be doing a web update next week and will post your findings.  Has your car continued breaking down, or it it better now?  Sometimes people are followed by spirits that they interact with.  There is a ghostly girl at Manresa that has gone home with children before, and the parents had to come back and drop off the little girl's ghost to be free of her.

SUBJECT:  Ghosts in Beaverton, OR

 I came across your website as I was looking for info about a ghost named Bybee. But I just found mention of the street. But anyway, in a separate incident I wanted to let you know of a haunting in Beaverton. My girlfriend used to have an apartment in Beaverton on SW 5th ST. Its a four plex on the left side; a block from a catholic church, and 2 blocks east of the Beaverton library on the opposite side of the street. Anyway, We had several encounters. The first we witnessed a spirit fly around the ceiling quickly. We also experienced separately an instance of time in that same bedroom where we could not breath or move or speak, like as if paralyzed.

Also in the living room 1 evening; I witnessed a female shaped spirit inhabit the living room ceiling for a long period of time. I first felt its presence above before looking up to see it.

My girlfriend also said she did see in the corner. 1 day the ghost of an older lady. Just wanted to let you know this is real. You should check it out, maybe even ask some former residents. I notice by all the different mail we got that, it has never been inhabited for a very long period at that time.

Thanks for sharing your story.  If you don’t mind, I’ll paste it on my website at the next update.  I will hide some details in the address though, since I do not want to be sued by the property owners.  Landlords can be tetchy where it involves scaring away paying tenants.
